How to use my Cody Plans or Bundles

  • I'm practicing with one of your plans. Is it ok if I do other workouts along with it?

    Feel free to do multiple plans together, alternate between plans and use them as you see fit. You can also add all my plans to whatever workout routine you’re already doing. Just make sure that you aren’t overdoing it and that you always listen to your body.

  • What are the best ways to combine 2 of your training plans?

    Many of my plans are set to a calendar or daily schedule. The schedule is meant to keep you on track with your training. Combining 2 plans is possible. There are several different ways to do this depending on your time and energy. If both plans are strength building you can alternate days, do the plans back to back, or morning and evening. If you are doing a strength plan with an inversion plan like True Strength Evolution and FlyStrong, then it’s best to do FlyStrong first followed by True Strength Evolution. If it’s True Strength Evolution and flexibility like True Flexibility or Desk Therapy then the order doesn’t matter. Try it both ways and do what feels best for you.

  • Do I have to rest on the “Rest Days”?

    Rest is an important part of building strength and flexibility. The body grows in the rest period. I recommend taking a break on rest days.

  • What is the difference between True Strength and True Strength Evolution?

    True Strength was my original yoga movement, body weight strength-training program. It uses arm balances, headstands and yoga poses to build strength and flexibility. Set up more like a yoga class, there is a warm up and cool down to every video.

    True Strength Evolution is the reinvented version of the original. I took the thousands of comments and all the feedback plus the evolution of my own practice and created the best way to build strength and flexibility using yoga based movements. Personally, the True Strength Evolution bundle is my favorite strength-building plan. Both plans are very different, I suggest trying the preview videos on Cody app and then deciding what is best for you.

  • I'm a beginner with little or no yoga experience.

    Beginner Yoga Strength Bundle
    Yoga Strength Basics for Beginners
    - No experience necessary. This program is the perfect way to establish your own personal practice from the ground up by guiding you step-by-step through yoga postures and yoga movements.
    Beginner Yoga Strength Classes - Deepen your emerging strength and control in 20-30 minute flow classes that utilize what you learned in Yoga Strength Basics for Beginners.

    True Flexibility - Unlock your muscles’ full potential through stretching, dynamic movements and static strength holds.

    Power of Breath - This series will teach you several different breathing techniques and the benefits of each. I will guide you through different levels of complete pranayama, yin and asana practices that will bring you to your true power of breath.

    Desk Therapy - Increase mobility and flexibility through therapeutic flows, stretches, and holds that target areas impacted by long periods of sitting. We also focus on dynamic stretches and neuro-flossing. Each session will open and release tightness in the hips, hamstrings, shoulders, neck and back.

  • I'm looking to be more flexible.

    True Flexibility - Unlock your muscles’ full potential through stretching, dynamic movements and static strength holds.

  • I'm wanting the best way to get strong.

    True Strength Evolution Bundle
    True Strength Evolution I - Push yourself further than you ever have before with 30 minute workouts that maximize your strength, flexibility and endurance. To make this plan accessible for everyone, this plan does not include arm balances and inversions (intermediate).
    True Strength Evolution II - This plan builds upon True Strength Evolution I and includes 30 new complexes to keep your workouts fun while targeting and strengthening new areas of the body (intermediate/advanced).
    True Strength Evolution III - The pinnacle of the True Strength Evolution series; push your physical and mental strength with higher reps, longer holds and more challenging movements (advanced).

    Power10 - This series of 10-minute workouts uses dynamic yoga movements to build strength, stamina, and cardio conditioning (intermediate/advanced).

    Advanced True Strength - Take what you have learned in the original True Strength to the next level with faster sequences and more dynamic range of motion (advanced).

  • I'm wanting to learn how to handstand and armbalance.

    FlyStrong Bundle
    FlyStrong I - Using wall-work practice and technical theory, gain basic strength and understanding of handstands (beginner: little to no handstand experience).
    FlyStrong II - Leave the wall and bring your handstands into your everyday yoga practice. This plan includes daily homework to deepen your skills and confidence after class (intermediate: can hold a handstand for a few seconds).
    FlyStrong III - The final phase of FlyStrong, this plan includes step-by-step progressions into advanced transitions such as pressing to handstand, lowering from handstand to crow, and even how to press back up (advanced: looking for the next level).

  • I have injuries and I'm looking for a plan to help with my mobility.
